Relational Counselling is a well-established partnership service, founded in 2018 by Elizabeth, a qualified integrative psychotherapist, well-being practitioner, couples counsellor, clinical supervisor & group facilitator.

Elizabeth & Melissa are highly qualified & dedicated caring psychotherapist practitioners, registered with the British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP), who adhere to ethical guidelines & principles set out. They endeavour to provide a high standard of private therapy to their clients.
Their core modality is Clarkson's systemic relational model, which draws upon various theoretical approaches. They incorporate techniques & tools from a variety of schools & traditions, including psychodynamic, existential, psychoanalysis, transactional analysis, Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), humanistic and transpersonal.

At Relational Counselling, we allow you to have control over the number of weekly sessions you have, which could be short-term, open-ended or working longer-term.

For couple sessions, we work slightly differently, initially providing a structured start, with a six session focus, at least every fortnight. Often couples coming to therapy find this helpful to learn new tools for better communication, friendship and intimacy. Taking a break after six weeks allows you both time to put into practice what you have learnt.

Psychotherapy for those in need

At Relational Counselling, we strongly believe that everyone should have access to the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy, regardless of their financial circumstances. Unfortunately, many people who could benefit from counselling are unable to afford it, and this is where we need your help.

By donating to Relational Counselling, you can help us provide accessible counselling and psychotherapy services to those who might otherwise be unable to access them. Your donation will directly support our efforts to provide affordable therapy to individuals and couples in need, and help to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live their best life.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling, and ensure that counselling is available to all who need it. Please consider making a donation, and join us in our mission to make counselling and psychotherapy accessible for all.
